Applications 

Membership entitles members to participate in the events published by G1MRA. Events organised in Switzerland are arranged by Swiss clubs or individual members and are not automatically restricted to G1MRA members.

Membership includes a subscription to the NEWSLETTER AND JOURNAL (published 4 times each year)

The association’s Rules are published at: www.gaugeone.org. They are also included in the welcome package, which contains lists of members and suppliers.

Members who fail to pay the annual subscription within a 3-month period after it is due are excluded from membership in accordance with Article 9 of the Rules.

Membership fee:

Exchange rate on 17 th January 2006               £1 = CHF 2.26

The amount due is the amount in sterling converted into Swiss francs plus bank charges and a reserve for exchange-rate fluctuations. Any surplus is credited to a reserve account.

The association’s financial year is identical to the calendar year. Members who join after 30th June are requested to pay half the annual fee plus a joining fee. The first annual subscription with the joining fee includes the supply of the NEWSLETTER & JOURNAL of the current half-year. Airmail is not absolutely necessary for mainland Europe as standard delivery only takes a couple of days longer.

Annual subscriptions are due for renewal on 30th November each year. Please arrange for a standing order. The bill for the following year will be sent at the beginning of the year together with membership IDs.
